Pizza at the Fountain
Sunday was a pretty gloomy and rainy day. But I had plans to hang out with my sister, her boyfriend Brian, my cousins Nicky & Rachel, and my parents. We originally were going to get pizza at Smitty’s Tavern but they weren’t open until 3 pm. Thankfully, we realized that before we left! Julie wanted to try the Fountain since she’d never been there and Brian wanted to try their pizza, since he is from out of town. Ali Baba Mediterranean
Saturday night my friend Lyndsay was in town and wanted to introduce me to the wonder that is AliBaba restaurant. I’m a fan of Mediterranean food so I was excited. 🙂 It was nothing fancy inside but they had pretty generous seating. We were seated as soon as we got in (it was pretty much empty) and then the server took our food and drink orders right away. We also got this huge puffy bread, which deflates once you rip it apart, which was an exciting surprise. It came with an awesome dipping sauce, which I promptly slathered on my bread. Race Expo and Matchbox Pizza
We saw the Capitol on the way. It had just started to rain as we walked toward the Museum, perfect timing, I say. There was so much to see in the museum. An entirely crotched and knitted coral reef. ... I did manage to get a shot of this emerald necklace, though. We also saw the orchid exhibit . There is just so much to see in this city, it impossible to do it all in one day!
