    Dinner at Sushi X

Saturday night Chris and I went to dinner with our friends Rob and Caitlyn. Chris and Rob are huge fans of Sushi X Lounge in Latham because of the selection of sushi and various Japanese food. It was crowded on Saturday, but service was pretty good. Everything came out really fast. The way Sushi X works is this: you order from a Kitchen Menu and a Sushi Bar menu for one set price of $22.99 (for weekends, cheaper on the weekday). On the kitchen menu they have all types of appetizers. You check off what you want on the piece of paper and how many of each food you want.…

    Harvest Fest in Washington Park

Yesterday was such a perfect fall day! My sister came over and we rode our bikes to our friend Brendan’s apartment since we all wanted to go to the Harvest Festival in Washington Park. The  Honest Weight Food Co-op puts on the Harvest Festival in the park every year. They have music, local food vendors and vegetable stands. It was lovely! The bike ride down was really nice, too. I had my eye on All Good Bakers‘ Pumpkin…

Last night my sister and I went to Mr. Fuji for dinner because I had been craving good sushi, a craving that only comes once in a blue moon! After a recommendation from a friend, we decided on…

    So Much Sushi

The other day I had a special lunch date with my favorite person! Chris and I hit up Nikko Sushi Buffet on Central Avenue for some all you can eat sushi, a $10.99 lunch buffet. Now, I used to be obsessed with sushi rolls in college, although I never tried the raw fish version until I met Chris (on our third date?) and I was a big fan of the sweet potato roll from The Sushi House on New Scotland Avenue. I have yet to find sushi just as amazing as it tasted back then. But I hate cucumbers. I used to take the shreds out of my sushi roll…
