    Weekend Happenings

Friday night: Friday was pretty low key! I made some home made pizza for Chris and myself, complete with some cheese from the Cheese Traveler. It was DELICIOUS and one of the best pizzas I’ve made so far! The only thing I wasn’t a fan of was the fake sausage–the lightlife brand. It didn’t even taste like sausage–just like fake meat product. At least it added a bit of a protein, but the rest of the pizza was really good. The cheese we used was mostly mozzarella but also some slices of Havarti from Demark. Weekend Happenings

First off, Happy Father’s Day to my Dad! Later this afternoon we’re picking up a Pizza from one of my Dad’s favorite pizza places and heading over to my parents to celebrate. Hope you’re having a great Dad’s Day so far. 🙂 Friday night Chris and I decided to put our CSA veggies to use and made a pizza. It was so fresh and flavorful, better than any spinach I’ve ever tasted! We made huge bowls of spinach…

Late for me! Anyway, that’s how this pizza came about! I’m a huge fan of pre-making pizza dough and freezing it, and that’s what I did here–I make Jenna’s pizza dough since it’s pretty much the easiest thing to make on the planet. And if I can’t mess it up, that’s saying something. Caramelized Onion,…

    Facing My Fears

Back in July of last year, I bought Chris a pass for Albany’s Indoor Rock Gym for his birthday. Almost one year later we finally got around to going! The rock gym consists of climbing walls and indoor caves for exploring. I had never gone rock climbing in my life, so I had no idea what to expect. Literally, no idea. I had a basic understanding I would be trying to climb up something, but didn’t know how hard it was going to be. My fear of falling, which has been dormant since my last ride on an extreme roller coaster, (it was in full force Summer of 2009 when…
