    Ice Cream Sandwich Throwdown

Saturday (after running 14 miles) I had the pleasure to judge The Ice Cream Sandwich Throwdown – Saratoga vs. Albany. Daniel B & the Saratoga Idiots had put together this amazing tour of ice cream sandwiches in the Capital Region, and we had to find out who had the best– Saratoga or Albany. I, of course, was Team Albany! Chris tagged along to be a provisional judge, also so I had someone to split the ice cream sandwiches with. Three Things Thursday

    1. Dinner at Creo. Last night I went to dinner with some fellow bloggers, Lauren, Amy, Courtney, and Alicia! We chose Creo in Stuyvesant Plaza! I’m a big fan of this place, the food is incredible. The manager brought out a tasty eggplant dip for us to share (score!) and it was really good! For my meal I had such a hard time choosing, but I went with the vegan pad thai because it wasn’t something I would normally order. (I de-veganized it with cheese). It was amazing! A Bachelorette Party!

One of my close friends from college, Ashley, is getting married in a week! On Wednesday night she had her bachelorette party. First we went to a nail salon to get our nails done. We had snacks and champagne! Aren’t these chocolate covered strawberries beautiful? I haven’t gotten a manicure in YEARS. It was nice to get pampered! A lot of the other girls got pedicures but I just stuck with the manicure. After that we went over to Stuyvesant Plaza to get dinner at Creo. Creo is a great restaurant for celebrations. It has that fancy atmosphere and the food is amazing! We decided to get an order of…

    Date Night at Creo

Last night Chris and I had a pre-Thanksgiving date night dinner at Creo Restaurant in Stuyvesant Plaza. I had never been there before, and Chris had been there a few times and said the food was really good, so we decided to head there for a nice dinner. We wanted to celebrate a meal together since we won’t be together on Thanksgiving, as I stay in Albany and he will be going to Pennsylvania to have Thanksgiving with his family. So to Creo we went. I really liked the lighting in the place. The lit up marble looking bar was awesome and would have been really cool to sit at and order drinks while…
