    We’re Married!

    On September 1st, Jordan and I got married at one of our favorite spots, John Boyd Thacher State Park! It was incredible. I couldn’t have asked for a better day.     Journey to RD

    A few weeks ago I officially began my last full-time semester of graduate school to become an RD. It’s pretty crazy. I’m in the process of applying to Dietetic Internships (DI) and my application is due in two weeks. I can’t believe I’ve finally gotten to this point! Around the time when I started this blog, in 2010, I decided to go back to school for nutrition. I attended an info session at my current school, applied, and got in! But, from 2010-2013 I took prerequisite courses that I needed for the Didactic Program in Dietetics (DPD) at my college. Thankfully I already had a Bachelor’s, but since it wasn’t in…

    A Michigan State Wedding

    Friday Chris and I arrived at our destination, East Lansing, Michigan for our friends’ wedding! Friday afternoon we stopped for lunch and some drinks around the Campus, and quickly found our favorite spot was a place called HopCat, that had 100 beers on tap! Thankfully they had the option for half pours, so I could try a small amount of different beers! I think my favorite was Soft Parade, a beer brewed in Michigan.     Spring in Albany

    After enduring months of cold weather, today finally felt like Springtime. I took a long walk to Washington Park and Center Square and snapped some photos. Spring! Tulips! Sunshine! Happiness! A few days before Tulipfest is the best time to see the tulips. All the beauty without the crowds.

    Nothing new has been going on over here. Busy, busy, busy as always. I figured I would share some pictures, which if you follow me on Instagram,  you have probably already seen! Friday I went for a run with some co-workers on our lunch break. We do a big loop in Albany which includes a really long hill. I ran the entire thing for the first time without taking a walking break. Woohoo. Which reminds me… There are 55 days left until The NorthFace Endurance Challenge!
